After a period of inactivity or after you have used the steam wand, 3 lights will flash. This will mean you need to prime (self-clean) the steam wand. To do this, simply; * Place a jug under the steam wand and open the steam knob. * Press the middle button (Auto- shot), the machine will fire and spurt a small a small amount of water. (This will clean any excess milk still in the wand). * The Machine will then turn itself off and the 2 coffee brewing buttons will stay illuminated. * You are ready to make your perfect espresso with your Lavazza A Modo Mio.
